Two of Brothers Beer favourite berries are also two of the weirdest. Did you know that cranberries love getting wet? They grow in marshy areas and soak up to 90% of their weight in water. To harvest, the marsh is flooded so the ripe cranberries loosen from the vine and float to the top. Meanwhile blackberries grow wild almost like weeds and have sharp thorns to protect their fruit. They have one of the highest levels of antioxidants of any food, a reward for those who risk bleeding hands to harvest them. If that all sounds like an effort, relax. This is a love letter to Dublin, from 19,140 km away, in Dunedin. Written in Ireland's beautiful mother tongue: Stout. First, a serenade of coffee flavours and toasty notes, before tenderly giving way to delicate bitter, dry finish, that will leave you longing for more. Is tú mo ghrá, as they say in the other Irish dialect.

This beer is inspired by the rabbits that do a bit of lawn mowing around the brewery. Their numbers seem to double, and they're pretty happy. So, Double Bunny is a double-hopped, double IPA with intense flavours, a lively spice and a fruity finish. It's surprisingly smooth for its 8.1%, but it's a good one to share. Maybe get a friend to hop down - on the double.

Life is hard. Beer shouldn't be. This Pacific Pale Ale was brewed to be crisp, refreshing, and go down nice and easy. It's as Easy As: Pie, Lemon Squeezy, Falling off a log, ABC, Doing up velcro shoes, Juggling one ball, Cooking up a pre-cooked sausage, Looking after a goldfish, Growing Mint, and Doing the 'Corpse' yoga pose. Yep it's so easy you could drink it with your eyes closed.

A hallucinatory, mind-bending, consciousness-expanding, dream-like experience is not what you'll find in this can. It's just a beer, man. But, this cloudy IPA does have a gnarly hit of Riwaka, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, with a tropical citrus flavour, and a totally piney finish. At least it's a trip for your taste-buds. Far out.

Area 51 is shrouded in mystery, with conspiracy theories afoot. Grey Area 5.1 isn't so different. While it's called a 'Cream Ale', it contains no cream, milk, or lactose of any sort. So what is the Unidentified Flavoursome Object that makes it so deliciously-smooth? Well, that's classified. But we can divulge that this beer is a little coconutty, and a lot refreshing. We suggest you pop on your tin-foil hat and open this can, so you can get to the bottom of it.

This is a NZ version of a German version of a Czech version of a German beer. The Germans created lager, the Czechs turned it into a pilsner, the Germans tweaked it, and then Emerson's did their bit... Sound complicated? It's actually beautifully simple.
