The Orange Roughy's scientific name is Hoplostethus atlanticus. Which roughly translates as, hazy, hoppy pale ale with a tropical fruit aroma, citrus flavour, and malty backbone. In the past, the roughy has been subject to unsustainable practices - completely selling out. Thanks to the hard work of our brewers, numbers are now on the rise. Careful you don't exceed your quota, though.

As a young man, Richard Emerson was a huge fan of the Dunedin Sound. Being deaf, he couldn't hear the music, but he could feel it. This beer is a tribute to The Sound, made with NZ hops for a bold local flavour, that will reverberate around your taste buds.

This Pacific Pilsner has been dry-hopped with NZ and US hops to make it super-tasty, while it's light body and crisp finish make it super-refreshing. This is a classic West Coast (USA) style IPA. It has a dry finish, with limited malt sweetness, which accentuates the hop flavour and hop bitterness. So the beer is punchy on hop flavour, and firm lingering hop bitterness. The bitterness is 66 IBU - hoppy, bitter, dry.
