Dolcetto is an Italian grape variety that is little known or planted in Australia. The variety hails from the mountainous Piedmont region of north-west Italy. Translated literally, 'Dolcetto' means 'little sweet one'. This wine has fresh, lifted aromas of red jubes, blackberries, red currants, hints of spice and liquorice. The palate has flavours of ripe summer berries and a natural grape sweetness that is balanced by the frizzante mouth-feel providing a refreshing, lively finish.

Camshorn, originally a Suffolk sheep farm, is surrounded by the Waipara regions Teviotdale hills. The unique suntrap climate with cool autumn nights is key to creating rich, aromatic and elegant wines. A small yet diverse region, Waipara consistency delivers excellent wines and Camshorn is no exception, showcasing stunning wines that exemplify the regions terroir. This Pinot Noir has dark fruit and smoky aromas leading to a medium-bodied palate of black cherry compote, and ripe plum joined by savoury spices and vanilla.

A medium bodied red wine, silky texture and fine tannins. The palate is full of red fruits, plum and black cherry.

The Casillero del Diablo Merlot is bright dark and deep purple. Subtle aromas of chocolate, dark plums, red berries and spices, with hints of vanilla and smoke. Medium-bodied, with lovely tannins, velvety texture, rich and a long, pretty finish.

This delicious dry red wine is made in a soft, fruity style from a blend of classic red grape varieties. Chasseur is an authentic, quality wine crafted for easy drinking. Its roots go back to 1969, to the historic Cooks Vineyard at Te Kauwhata. Chasseur has built a proud legacy of quality winemaking that still holds strong. Church Road Grand Reserve wines are produced only in exceptional vintages. The very best low-cropping vineyard blocks are targeted for selective hand-harvesting to yield wines with the greatest possible flavour, depth and concentration. The Grand Reserve Pinot Noir is wild fermented with a proportion of whole bunches. Dark cherry and sweet berry fruit is lifted by alluring floral and spice notes, complimented by underlying earthy complexity and subtle French oak. On the palate the wine is fine and supple with excellent textural length.

The McDonald Series wines are an expression of both their fruit and the vision of their namesake winemaker. This full-bodied wine is packed with layers of rich berry fruit, cassis and dark cacao notes, along with lifted cedar and thyme aromas. While impressive now, the powerful yet fine-grained tannin structure ensures great longevity. This wine is unfined and unfiltered to preserve quality. Some precipitate may form with time and decanting is recommended.

Church Road McDonald Series wines are a tribute to pioneering winemaker Tom McDonald, whose vision helped shape the reputation of Hawke's Bay winemaking. This aromatic, textural Syrah showcases a vibrant core of rich plum and berry fruit, layered with lifted notes of violet, warm spice, liquorice, and cracked black pepper, supported by subtle oak.
