Ruby Ports are a blend of young, vibrant wines from different harvests. They are kept for an average of two to three years in oak vats before they are blended, fined and bottled ready to enjoy. Dow's Fine White ages mainly in wood, gaining a rich golden colour and an intense rich nutty aromatic complexity. A certain amount of wine is not wood-aged and is blended in to add freshness and fruit character. On the palate, balanced and smooth, with excellent acidity and a long finish.

Dow's Fine Ruby was aged in seasoned oak casks at our lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia for an average of 3 years, and bottled when ready to drink. Exuberant youthful fruit flavours make it perfect for informal drinking.
